My Mam was one in a million. She was not only my Mam, she was my best friend too, kind, caring, full of laughter and smiles which lit up any room she was in. She would give you her last and her life revolved around my Dad and her family. She was really proud of all her family as they were of her. She was the loving Wife of John, a truly wonderful Mam to Isobel and Peter, a special Mother-in-Law to Jimmy and Diane, a fantastic Gran to Jonathan, David, Toni, Gemma, Ashleigh and a very proud Great-gran to Hollie, Jake and Baby Grace who she loved with all her heart. We love and miss you Mam and we will never forget you, you will be forever in our hearts. Another year without you Mam
Happy New Year Mam, i,m really sorrry for not being on here talking to you over the Christmas and the New Year, but, i,ve not been feeling too well, but, thats not to say that i haven,t been thinking of you or talking to you everyday. Hope you had a great christmas up there with my Nana, Grandad and all off your family and friends, bet, you,se were celebrating along with everyone else. You were missed by everyone Mam, especially by my Dad who has been talking about you a lot lately, he misses you so much just like we all do. I hope you liked the Christmas wreath we left for you in the Garden of Remembrance, it was lovely. It,s Davids 27th birthday tomorrow, we are having a chinkies for tea then David is going into town for a drink with his friends so i know you will join them and finish his shots off with him like you always did with him and Jonathan. You used to enjoy them didn,t you. Jonathan is going to be 30 this year on his birthday, i feel old now Mam lol. Hope you have been watching the kids and their antics lately, Kaitlin is crawling now, it wont be long and she will be walking soon. Its lovely watching them all (Hollie, Jake, Grace and Kaitlin) playing together on the floor, Kaitlin just wades through into the middle of them all, its funny watching them all grabbing their toys so she wont get them, lol. They are little treasures, bless them. Jonathan and Toni are really proud of them all just like we all are, we love them to bits. Happy christmas and new year Alma,always in our thoughts,reading Isobels last message to you about our night out it was a good night you must have had your foot behind our Jimmy cause he really enjoyed himself, even later when he and Isobel had the wigs on see what happens when im not there to keep an eye on them, it was nice to see Isobel smiling shes had a rough year with her health,but she has her family around her , and the grandkids keep her going, there growing so fast, you would be so proud of them all. love to you xxxxx
My birthday Mam
Hiya Mam, it was 53 years on the 21st November since you gave birth to me and i wish you were still here to celebrate it with me. I can,t believe that i,m 53 now, mind u i feel it. lol. Wish i was 21 again and you were still here. Me and Jimmy went out for a chinese meal with David, Jonathan, Toni, Joyce and Clint then we all went into town for a few drinks, what a good night we had, you would have enjoyed it cos they were drinking the shots that you like, Jimmy was well away with drink. lol. It was nice to see everyone laughing and enjoying themselves. I know that you will have been celebrating with us up there in your special place and watching over us. Hope you are keeping well Mam, it,s not long till Christmas now and i hate doing the shopping now cos i,m used to you being with me going around the town enjoying the Christmas carols and the decorations. it,s not the same now your not here with us. Missing u Mam
Well Mam, it,s been two years today since we last saw you and i still remember that fateful day as if it was yesterday. Life has never been the same without you and we all think about you everyday. My Dad misses you so much and he knows when you are around at home and it comforts him knowing you are there. We all sent you some lanterns up yesterday, so i hope you got to see them, Hollie and Jake weren,t there so they are sending up their lantern on Saturday so you will have to keep a look out for it. Our Peter couldn,t make it either so he is going to get his lantern to send to you specially from down his house. Do you remember telling our Peter to go and get the cysts seen to on his back, well, he went to the Doctors and had them removed the other week, he feels a lot better now because they done tests on him and they were cysts, nothing to worry about. It took time, but, he eventually got them sorted out. It,s halloween next week so we are going to Jonny and Tonis for a party, we are looking forward to going, i wish you were still here though cos i,m making toffee apples and i can,t remember how you used to make them. Never mind i will give it a go, but, i know that they will never taste like your toffee apples you used to make. Hiya Mam, how have you been lately, sorry i haven,t been on here talking to you lately, but, i just haven,t been on the computer for a long time, i haven,t been able to concentrate much lately, a few things going wrong with my health and i,ve just been so tired. never mind, i,m back on now. I,ve missed you loads Mam, i,ve realised now that life will never be the same without you in it and i guess i,m finding that hard to cope with, i keep going over the last time i saw and spoke to you and i just can,t get you out of my mind. My Nanas birthday
Hiya Mam, sorry i haven,t been on here for a few weeks, thats not to say that i havent been thinking of you all the time. It was my Nanas birthday yesterday, hope you all had a good time up there celebrating her special day with her and all the family. I bought some flowers in her memory, they,re lovely, all bright colours i know she likes. Hope my Nana likes them too, i,m sure she will. Hows you anyway, i know that you have been down to see us because we have felt your presence a few times and my Dad has felt you in your bungalow too, he was over the moon that you got into bed with him a few weeks ago, he loved the cuddles you gave him, bless him, he misses you so much just like we all do. Me and Jimmy were at our Angelas 40th birthday party last saturday, you know our Stewarts girlfriend. we had a great night sitting with our Ann, Ian, Jennifer, Jimmy and Lorraine. Our Stewart kept coming over winding us up. what a good laugh we had. You were a big miss then, i know you would have loved it there and everybody missed you. That just shows how much you are missed Mam. My Dad and Peter didnt go cos it wasnt my Dads scene, plus he had a chest infection and our Peter was away for the weekend. My Dads birthday
Hiya Mam, hows you, sorry for not being on here for a little while, as you know we have been a little bit busy lately doing things that need sorted out and i just haven,t had the time to come on the computer, but, that doesn,t mean that i haven,t been thinking about you all the time. You are always in my thoughts Mam and my Dad has been talking about you a lot lately. He says that he loved it when you went to visit him and got into bed with him, he loved being close to you again, he enjoyed the cuddle you gave him. As you know it is my Dads birthday today, he,s 75 and still as daft as ever, he was singing happy birthday to himself this morning and knew that you were singng along with him. It was Jake and Graces birthday too in these last few weeks, Jake is now a big 4 and Grace was 2, it will be Hollies birthday in August, she will be 6 and then we will be celebrating Kaitlins birthday next year when she turns 1. The years are flying over, i can still remember when Jonathan and Toni had Grace and you were so excited about being a Great Gran, i know that you would be so proud of all the kids, they are coming on a treat. . What do you think of your front garden with all the pots and plants that my Dad has put in so that you will have plenty of colour in your garden soon. He,s been so busy in the garden and our Peter came up to dig some of the garden for him and David helped him to finish it then my Dad put some Dahlias in where they had dug over. The garden is looking so lovely now, bet you,re pleased with my Dad for keeping it lookins nice, he hopes you are anyway. Hiya Mam, hows you, just been talking to my Dad, he,s been to the Fairholme club and has just told me that he hasnt won the bingo again, whats he like, one of his friends won though and bought him a pint, lol, one of these days he will come in and say that he has won. we live in hope lol. We actually won on the lottery last night with your numbers that you picked on our syndicate, yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, we had four numbers and guess what, we only got sixty pounds. well it,s better than nothing isn,t it. i keep remembering you saying that we were due a big win, we will win, one of these fine days. keep watching. It,s Easter Sunder today, Hollie, Jake, Grace and baby Kaitlin have all enjoyed their day and love the clothes and things that we got for them., Jonny, Toni and the kids are all away for a barbecue at Tonis Mam and Dads. they will enjoy it cos it,s a lovely day. David is away to the pub for a few drinks with Jonny, his friend, he is hoping to get more hours at work now that the nice weather is here, it,s been really lovely the last few weeks, hope it stays like this, you would love sitting in our back garden now Mam, i know that you used to love sitting outside. Jimmy has finished laying the flagstones at long last, remember he was starting to lay them when you were still here, or at least he had them in the garden ready to put down. It,s taken a while, but, it,s lovely now, come and sit with us whenever you want to, you know that we would love you to come and join us anytime you want to. Jimmy even had Joyce helping him in the garden last week helping him, she puts her hands to anything does Joyce, i love her to bits.
